The Bowl Tournament Series Quarterfinals have been played and are ready to be posted. Scoring Summary:
Ohio St. opened the game up with a 34 yd fg (OSU 3-0). Later in the quarter, QB Pryor found WR Thomas on a slant for a 17 yd td pass (OSU 10-0).
Pryor struck again early in the 2nd quarter. He hit WR Sanzenbacher for a 16 yd td pass (OSU 17-0). Troy would finally get on the board with a 33 yd fg (OSU 17-3). However, they would lose the momentum when Pryor found Sanzenbacher for a 13 yd td pass, Sanzenbacher’s 2nd of the game (OSU 24-3).
The Troy defense stepped up in the 2nd half, but the offense could not get back in the game. Brown hit WR Davis for a 12 yd td pass, but this would be the last point of the game for Troy (OSU 24-10). Ohio St. finished the quarter with a 24 yd fg (OSU 27-10).
The 4th quarter did not contain much action. Both defenses played well and kept the offenses out of the endzones. Ohio St. made a 31 yd fg (OSU 30-10). They finished the game with a 19 yd fg (OSU 33-10). FINAL
