College Basketball Picks for February 2nd

Posted by deaconcat08 on February 2, 2010

These spreads are based on the current lines according to the World Sports Exchange, and they are ordered from most confident to least confident.

Northwestern (-2.0) vs. Michigan- The Wildcats are the better team, they’re playing at home, and frankly they need this win more.  Michigan is already out of the NCAA bubble picture and is simply jockeying for a decent NIT seed.  However, Northwestern has 5 straight winnable games starting tomorrow, and they could find themselves near the dance floor if they win all of them.

Kansas State (-3.5) vs. Nebraska- The Cornhuskers seem to always have a game or two each year where they pull a big upset at home.  However, those Nebraska teams were at least NIT quality, unlike the CIT destined squad they have right now.  The Wildcats should roll.
