NCAA Second Round College Basketball Picks

Posted by deaconcat08 on March 21, 2010

These spreads are based on the current lines according to the World Sports Exchange, and they are ordered from most confident to least confident.

Cornell (+4.0) vs. Wisconsin- I don’t think Cornell loses this game, and if they do it’s going to be close.  The bottom line is that if the Badgers can only beat Wofford by one possession, they’re not going to beat Cornell by more than that.

Duke (-6.5) vs. California- The Pac-10 is looking really good right now, but so is Duke.  The Golden Bears may hang around for a bit, but the Devis will pull away in the second half and win by double-digits.

Texas A & M (-2.0) vs. Purdue- The Boilermakers played better than expected on Friday, but the Aggies are playing like a 2 or 3 seed right now and should roll.  Don’t be surprised to see a Baylor/Texas A & M regional final in Houston.

NCAA Record: 4-6, Overall Season Record: 46-38

The Taxas A&M and Baylor comment is dead on. I have Baylor going to the final four in most of my brackets. A&M is definitely on a roll and looking very good. Cornell is also a solid pick as they look comfortable and very ready to continue the winning success. How far do you have my K-state Wildcats going in your brackets??? I so want to see them get to face Huggins in the championship. I know it’s a huge wish but I would be thrilled to death to take it away from him directly after jetting from KSU. However if he wasn’t such an ass we wouldn’t be where we are with Frank Martin right now so I do thank him for that.

I’ve got K-State losing to Cuse in the Elite 8. I see Syracuse getting to the finals now based on the way their playing.
