Posted by deaconcat08 on 16th February 2011

The spreads below are from the Sportsbook’s current lines and are ordered based on my personal confidence in each. Cleveland State (+1.5) at Wright State- I realize the Vikings have played poorly away from home lately, but this is a must-win game for them against a team they beat by 19 earlier this season. UMass (+7.0) vs. [...]

College Basketball Picks for February 15th

Posted by deaconcat08 on 15th February 2011

The spreads below are from the Sportsbook’s current lines and are ordered based on my personal confidence in each.  North Carolina (-22.5) vs. Wake Forest- This would be a good first half line, but there’s no way the Deacons will cover this spread on the road.  Virginia Tech (-4.0) vs. Maryland- Don’t really understand this line.  The [...]

Posted by deaconcat08 on 12th February 2011

I published the column below a couple of weeks ago, but due to several shifts in some of the conference standings, I think it might be best to update it by adding and subtracting a few teams.  Only teams in first or second place of their respective conferences that have a realistic chance of earning a tourney bid will [...]
