These are in order from my most confident pick to least confident. Lines are based on the current spreads at the Caesars Sportsbook.
Seattle (-5.5) vs. LA Rams- (Sun) 4:25– The Seahawks are always tough at home, and they should easily dispatch a Rams team with a banged up Cooper Kupp and a roster in all kinds of disarray.
Philadelphia (-4.0) at New England- (Sun) 4:25– I love my Pats but I just can’t see them keeping this one close against an elite Eagles squad, even on a day where they are honoring Tom Brady.
Buffalo (-2.5) at NY Jets- (Mon) 8:15– There is a little too much Aaron Rodgers hype baked into this spread. The Bills should win by at least a field goal.
Atlanta (-3.5) vs. Carolina- (Sun) 1:00– The Panthers seem to always struggle in Atlanta, and this year’s Carolina team is in total rebuilding mode.
Jacksonville (-4.5) at Indianapolis- (Sun) 1:00– The Jags are one of the league’s top up-and-coming teams, whereas the Colts will be among this season’s NFL bottom feeders. Expect the Jags to win by at least a touchdown here.
