I had great feedback on my Kentucky Derby preview two weeks ago so here are my predictions and analysis for the second jewel of the Triple Crown, the Preakness.

1	Seize the Gray (15-1)	D. Wayne Lukas horse; won Pat Day mile on Derby day in his last race but before that he was 7th in the Blue Grass; (9) 3-0-3-3; stalker; won races at three different tracks (Saraoga, Oaklawn, and Pimlico)
2	Imagination (6-1)	Baffert horse that was ineliglbe for Derby; close 2nd in Santa Anita to Stronghold; (6) 2-4-0-0; pacesetter; never finished worse than 2nd
3	Muth (8-5)– (scratched)	Baffert horse that was ineliglbe for Derby; won Ark. Derby by two lengths; (6) 4-2-0-0; has most wins in field and has never finished worse than 2nd; Stalker
4	Catching Freedom (6-1)	finished 4th in the Derby but won Lousiana Derby over Tuscan Gold. Never finished worse than 4th; (6) 3-0-1-2; closer
5	Mystik Dan (5-2)	Derby winner; only clear mudder in field; versatile horse that has races as a pacesetter and closer; was 3rd to Muth in Arkansas Derby; (7) 3-1-1-2; stalker
6	Just Steel (15-1)	son of Justify; finished 17th in Derby but was only beaten by two lengths by Murth in the Arkansas Derby; (12) 2-4-1-5; Stalker
7	Uncle Heavy (20-1)	5th in Wood Memorial in last race but won Withers Stakes in Feb; (5) 3-0-0-2; closer
8	Tusan Gold (8-1)	only raced 3 times; last race was a 3rd place finish in Louisiana Derby; (3) 1-0-1-1; closer
9	Mugatu (20-1)	5th in Blue Grass Stakes in last race; (12) 1-1-3-7; Stalker; needed five races to break maiden and hasn’t won since then nad hasn’t finished in top 2 in last 7 races
