There is a new college basketball postseason tournament on the horizon as Fox Sports has created a competitor tournament to the NIT that will take place over a single week in Las Vegas. Though we have no idea which teams will choose this option instead of the NIt, we do know that the Big 12, East, and Big Ten are guaranteed 2 bids each. I am predicting that the rest of the field in this tourney consists of other western-based Big 12 and Big Ten schools as well as other west coast teams who can travel to Vegas easier than to a potential host site of an NIT first round opponent.
