These are in order from my most confident pick to least confident. Lines are based on the current spreads at the Fan Duel Sportsbook.

Troy (-2.5) vs. South Alabama- 7:00– The Trojans are the much better team here.

Rice (-4.5) vs. Florida Atlantic- 7:00– One of these Owls are awful (FAU) and the other has played some decent football in 2025 (Rice).

Virginia Tech (-6.5) vs. Wake Forest- 1:00– The Deacs have been competing in every game but this is their first road game of the year. Lay the points here as long as the line is under a touchdown.

New Mexico State (+2.5) vs. Sam Houston- (Th) 9:00– The Bearkats are really bad this year. Go with the home dog in this one.

Western Kentucky (+2.5) at Delaware- (Fri) 7:00– The Blue Hens have been a pleasant surprise in their first year in FBS, but I don’t think they are quite ready to knock off the top teams in this league yet.

Air Force (+11.5) at Navy- 12:00– Throw out the record books when the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy is on the line.

Northwestern (-10.5) vs. UL-Monroe- 3:30– The Warhawks are once again off to a hot start in 2025, but I don’t think they are good enough to stay within two touchdowns of a Big Ten foe on the road.

Boise State (+20.5) at Notre Dame- 3:30– Have the Broncos ever been a 20 point underdog to anyone? They won’t win the game, but Boise will keep it close.

Iowa State (+1.5) at Cincinnati- 12:00– The Cyclones are the considerably better football team here.

San Jose State (-2.5) vs. New Mexico- (Fri) 10:00– The Lobos are one of the better surprise stories so far in the 2025 season , but I don’t think they are good enough to beat one of the Mountain West’s top teams on the reaod.
