These are in order from my most confident pick to least confident. Lines are based on the current spreads at the Caesars Sportsbook.
NY Giants (+9.0) vs. Green Bay- (Sun) 9:30 AM– It seems like these NFL Europe games are always tight, low-scoring affairs that often produce surprise results. I picked the Giants to pull off this upset in the preseason, and I am sticking with it. |
San Francisco (-6.5) at Carolina- (Sun) 4:00– I have seen the 49ers travel cross country and beat the Panthers before, and they shouldn’t have any trouble doing the same on Sunday against this dumpster fire of a Carolina team. |
Arizona (+5.0) vs. Philadelphia- (Sun) 4:25– The Eagles are red hot to start off 2022, but this is definitely their toughest road test of the season. Not sure the Cardinals actually pull off the upset, but I think this game will come right down to the wire. |
Miami (-3.5) at NY Jets- (Sun) 1:00– The Jets surprised me with their upset win over a floundering Steelers’ team last week, but Miami is still a tier or two above them, even with Teddy Bridgewater filling in at quarterback. |
Baltimore (-3.5) vs. Cincinnati- (Sun) 8:20– The Bengals haven’t looked like the same team that made their dramatic run to the Super Bowl last season, and I think Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will prove to be too much in this one, especially at home. |
Last Week’s Record: 3-2, Overall Season Record: 12-8 (My impressive run of pro picks continues!)
