Minnesota (-3.0) vs. NY Jets- (Sun) 1:00– This spread would make sense if the game was in New York, but the Vikings at home should beat the Jets by more than a field goal. My lock of the week last week was Minnesota giving 2.5 to the Patriots, and the Vikings were able to win and cover that one. I expect a similar result here in a very similar spot. |
Atlanta (Pick) vs. Pittsburgh- (Sun) 1:00– The Steelers were able to squeeze by the Colts on the road last week, but the Falcons are a tougher opponent and should be able to take this one at home. |
NY Giants (+1.0) vs. Washington- (Sun) 1:00– The Commanders are on fire right now, but the magical Taylor Heinicke ride has to end at some point and I think the Giants will prove to be too tough for the artists formerly known as the Washington Redskins. |
Tampa Bay (-4.0) vs. New Orleans- (Mon) 8:15– The Bucs already beat New Orleans this season by double digits on the road, and I don’t see any reason why Brady and company can’t win by at least amount at home. The Saints also haven’t won a road game since week 1. |
Cincinnati (+1.5) vs. Kansas City- (Sun) 4:25- The Bengals have been dominant at home over the past couple of seasons posting an impressive 7-1 mark in their last eight home games. In contrast, the Chiefs are 0-7-1 in their last eight games against AFC opposition. I expect both of those trends to continue on Sunday as Cincy knocks off KC just like they did in last year’s AFC title game. |
Last Week’s Record: 2-3, Overall Season Record: 34-26
