These are in order from my most confident pick to least confident. Lines are based on the current spreads at the Caesars Sportsbook.
Tampa Bay (-3.0) vs. Carolina- (Sun) 1:00– This just seems like one of those games where Brady and company step up big with a clutch performance while the Panthers just fall apart on the road… |
Houston (+4.0) vs. Jacksonville- (Sun) 1:00– This is a prime look ahead spot for the Jaguars as no matter what happens here next week’s game against Tennessee will decide the division. Meanwhile, the Texans have showed signs of life over the past few weeks, so I think they will pull off the home upset here. |
Las Vegas (+5.0) vs. San Francisco- (Sun) 4:05– The Raiders are still in playoff contention so I think they will at least keep it close at home here against a 49ers team that has already clinched its division and may not have much to play for by the time kickoff rolls around. |
Seattle (+2.5) vs. NY Jets- (Sun) 4:05– The Jets have been a disaster the past few weeks, and I don’t think the return of Mike White is magically going to fix things for this cross country trip to Seattle to play a Seahawks team that is right in thick of the NFC playoff race. |
Minnesota (+3.0) at Green Bay- (Sun) 4:25– I realize the Packers have been playing better the past couple of weeks, but they still shouldn’t be favored against a 12-3 juggeranut that beat them by 16 points earlier this season. |
Last Week’s Record: 3-2, Overall Season Record: 45-35 (back to 10 games over .500 for the season!)
