Week 12 NFL (Against the Spread) Picks

These are in order from my most confident pick to least confident. Lines are based on the current spreads at the Caesars Sportsbook.

Minnesota (-2.5) vs. New England- (Th) 8:20– I know the Vikings laid a massive egg last week, but I think they will bounce back at home against a Patriots squad that has yet to beat a quality opponent this season.
Indianapolis (-2.5) vs. Pittsburgh- (Mon) 8:15– The Colts have played surprisingly well for interim coach Jeff Saturday, with a road win over Vegas and a narrow loss over league-leading Philadelphia over the course of the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh hasn’t won a road game since week 1.
Carolina (+2.0) vs. Denver- (Sun) 1:00– When you have two teams that are equally bad, it makes sense to pick the home team when they are getting points.
Tampa Bay (-3.5) at Cleveland- (Sun) 1:00– The Bucs seem to be getting past their early season struggles with recent wins over the Rams and Seahawks. Meanwhile, the Browns have lost six of their last seven games, as their Halloween night domination of the Bengals seems to be an anomaly at this point in time.
Philadelphia (-6.5) vs. Green Bay- (Sun) 8:20– The Packers have been bad on the road this season, and after a couple of shaky performances, Philly is going to be looking to make a statement at home in primetime this Sunday night.

Last Week’s Record: 2-3, Overall Season Record: 32-23
